Lord Egerton Castle

Lord Egerton Castle is a historic mansion in Ngata area built between 1938 and 1954 as a grand gesture to woo Maurice Egerton’s fiancée Victoria, who declined his marriage proposals twice, leading Lord Egerton to dedicate the castle to his bachelor life.
