A unique gem at the Lodge is the adjacent watering hole where animals gather to hydrate, providing guests with an intimate and up-close experience of wildlife while dining at the restaurant, rejuvenating by the swimming pool or even relaxing at the room balconies.

Facilities at Lake Nakuru Lodge

Mutarakwa Restaurant has been a part of the Lake Nakuru Lodge since its inception. It is a cozy space where guests get to enjoy all their delicious meals made by world-class chefs who go an extra mile to create delicious dishes that cater to all dietary needs.

The restaurant has two dining areas: an inside area that can seat up to 180 guests and an outdoor patio area that hosts up to 40 guests.

Lunch: 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Dinner: 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Guests can relax with a drink at the full bar, which serves a variety of liquors, cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks. The bar provides stunning views of the park, the wildlife, and the clear waters of the lake.

Accommodations

There is accommodation for 78 guests either in family rooms, deluxe and suites each hosting up to three guests. Each room is designed with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. The rooms are fitted with bed draped in treated mosquito nets, a workstation and full length windows.
